About this release

v0.0.4 pilot 13 October 2026

  • On-device handwriting recognition. Your writing is read on your own machine as you write.
  • Lecture and practice modes for learning.
  • Smart annotate — Kani can mark the passage she is talking about.
  • Textbooks and experiments are wired into the AI.

Only the app ships in this release. The server-side changes some of these rely on are being deployed in phases, so parts may arrive over the coming days.

A pilot release. Its job is to exercise our build and release pipeline end to end — not to be the finished product.
